We’re looking for 3 Senior VMware Horizon / VDI Engineers to join a global consultancy’s growing tech hub in Australia. They are focused on enhancing their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) setup. You will play a pivotal role in redesigning and optimising their current VDI solution to meet business needs across their global operations Key Responsibilities: Work closely with clients to identify their virtual desktop needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Continuously monitor and fine-tune the VDI environment to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and uptime. Lead the design and deployment of VMware Horizon-based VDI environments, ensuring they align with business requirements and objectives. Monitor and resolve performance issues within VMware Horizon and VDI environments, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal system performance across multiple regions. Apply security best practices to protect VDI systems and ensure they comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Create detailed documentation for VDI setups and procedures, while also providing training and guidance to colleagues and clients on best practices. Dvelop and maintain detailed documentation for VMware Horizon configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training and support to clients and internal teams. Partner with clients to understand their changing requirements, providing expert advice and troubleshooting support to improve their VDI infrastructure. Skills & Experience: Practical knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, ELB, R53, RDS, and IAM. Strong knowledge of VMware Horizon View, vSphere, and cloud-based VDI solutions such as VMware Cloud and AWS. 5+ years of hands-on experience working with VMware Horizon and related virtual desktop technologies. Extensive experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems, especially Windows 10. Experience with storage technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS) and networking concepts. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within VMware Horizon environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. Why apply?
