Hiring !! - Technical Support Engineer 12 months contract opportunity- with a high potential to go perm Location: Sydney CBD- hybrid work arrangements Offering $450/day including super As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible to resolve technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviours or to answer technical questions about the software and platform. Responsibilities: Customer Advocate providing support to users/administrators of our platform. Contributing to the growth of best practices for delivery of support services. Understanding the platform and all core functionalities while employing various diagnostic tools to isolate the potential cause of the issue. Providing input across business units regarding process and product improvements when working on technical issues for customers. Resolve issues through various technologies including web, chat, email, case updates, as well as direct telephone support. Skills required (Minimum 5 years relevant experience): A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, or CMDB Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease and complexity. Ability to read basic Java/JavaScript code Personal commitment to quality and customer service Advanced MySQL / Postgres knowledge and hands on experience (Oracle also helpful but optional) Understanding of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShell.
