About the job Sydney, NSW Contract (12 months with high likelihood of permanent conversion) Full-time (38 hours per week, 8 hours per day) Rate: $53.11 + Super (p/hour) About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a the UX team at a leading global technology company. This role offers the opportunity to manage and resolve challenging technical issues for partners and customers while developing subject matter expertise in customer support. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to UX. Provide high-level support and guidance to customer administrators and developers. Analyse log files and debugging information to diagnose problems effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the best possible solutions are provided. Manage incidents, problems, changes, and defect escalations efficiently. Maintain and enhance knowledge base documentation. Skills & Experience: At least 3 years of customer-facing technical support experience (preferably in web-based products or e-commerce). Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with dynamic HTML components (AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, XHTML). Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, and Jelly. Backend programming experience with Java or similar languages. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle. Familiarity with Linux/Unix and web application stack components. Excellent communication and client management skills. Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload.
