About the job Enterprise projects 6 month rolling daily rate contract Hybrid working in either Sydney or Melbourne Note this role is only suitable for people with Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship. Nuage is partnered with a Tier 1 Enterprise, that are going through a banking grade digital transformation. We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Technical Analyst to collaborate closely with engineering teams across Sydney, Melbourne, and Asia. In this role, you will drive deep dive analysis, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure problem areas are identified early in the delivery cycle. You will play a key role in refining user stories, maintaining Jira cards, and supporting the adoption of Test-Driven Development(TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles. The Role: Collaborate with engineering teams across Sydney, Melbourne, and Asia to identify and address technical challenges early in the delivery cycle. Refine and groom user stories, maintain Jira boards, and ensure clarity of requirements for smooth sprint execution. Facilitate technical discussions, resolve blockers, and champion practices such as TDD and BDD to enhance software quality (TDD and BDD experience is mandatory) Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment from concept to delivery. Your Background: MUST have a background in financial services, ideally within the big 4 banks. Strong experience in technical analysis and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Agile environments. Hands-on Jira expertise with a track record of effective backlog and sprint management. Skilled in story refinement, stakeholder engagement, and technical problem-solving across distributed teams. Knowledge of TDD/BDD principles and experience applying them to improve delivery outcomes. The client is looking to move quickly, this will be a 1 stage interview.
