I am looking for a Mobile Tech Lead to join a growing SaaS team in Sydney and take ownership of brand-new greenfield projects. You'll be one of the first hires in the mobile space, leading the charge in building a high-performing mobile engineering team. What you'll be doing: Leading the design and development of mobile applications using React Native (Expo), TypeScript, and Node.js. Setting technical direction, best practices, and coding standards for the team. Collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge mobile solutions. Mentoring and guiding engineers as the team scales. Driving greenfield initiatives from concept to production, ensuring scalability and performance. What we're looking for: Strong experience building and deploying mobile apps with React Native (Expo). Solid background with TypeScript and backend development using Node.js. Previous experience in a technical leadership role - setting standards, mentoring engineers, and influencing architecture decisions. A passion for building scalable, high-quality products in a collaborative environment. AI skills and experience utilising this in a production environment.
