<ul> <li>Location - ACT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 15 months&nbsp;</li> <li>The role closes on 13/5/2026</li> <li>Reference: 1042064</li> </ul> <strong>Deliverables / Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Sound understanding and application of Safety Case Management.</li> <li>Supporting the Planning and Execution of the project engineering program.</li> <li>Leading and managing a small team of shared engineering practitioners.</li> <li>Participating and leading in engineering engagement with Industry</li> <li>Contributing and governance of the requirement specifications, engineering (subordinate), system safety, configuration. management, risk management plans and project engineering strategy development for the project.</li> <li>Coordinating with support of the engineering managers activities with internal and external project stakeholders.</li> <li>Providing authoritative, balanced and reasoned engineering advice to the project leadership.</li> <li>Developing formal correspondence and providing briefings on engineering activities to the project and leadership</li> <li>Communicating risks associated with the engineering program.</li> <li>Supporting or executing whole of system level certification activities.</li> <li>Review for acceptance of contract deliverables as required</li> <li>Providing mentoring, training and support to engineering managers, engineers and junior engineers as a trusted advisor.</li> </ul> <strong>Experience/Skills Sought:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautical etc Stage 1 or 2 professional engineering competencies as defined by Engineers Australia and recognised under the Washington Accord (Mandatory).</li> <li>Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in developing and managing project Engineering program(s) (Mandatory).</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in developing Engineering plans, procedures and outcome reports.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of conducting engineering programs in Defence acquisition projects (Desirable).</li> <li>Knowledge of Tactical Data Links for communication (Desirable).</li> </ul> <strong><strong>Additional Criteria:<br></strong></strong> <ul> <li>DSS - 2.1 Systems and Software Engineering - Systems Engineering - L2</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L3</li> </ul> <br> <strong>Please contact [email protected]&nbsp;or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
