Staff Engineer (Typescript & NextJS OR .NET & React) – Core Apps Backend Team - $200-220K+ Super + Bonus - Sydney (or Melbourne) – Hybrid We’re looking for a few Senior Staff Engineers - Typescript & NextJS or .NET Core + Typescript/React - who know how to get things built, shipped, and scaled with precision. Despite the roles having two flavours of technology, NextJS is crucial if you are a Typescript-focused engineer, with a bit more flexibility if you are .NET Core & Typescript/React-focused person. What you’ll be doing: Building and evolving backend APIs that power the Core Mobile Apps. Designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, and integration layers. Working hands-on with modern stacks: .NET Core, Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Angular etc Bringing a security-first mindset and embedding automated testing and CI/CD into everything you ship. Mentoring junior engineers, sharing knowledge, and raising the bar for engineering across the team. What we’re after: Strong backend engineering experience - ideally with C# .NET Core, REST APIs, and/or Node.js. Exposure to front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Next.js. Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions. Comfortable with cloud environments (AWS / Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps tooling. A collaborative mindset - you know when to lead, when to listen, and when to challenge.
