A major financial services company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer- Entra ID, Active Directory and Identity experience. This is an initial 6 month contract highly likely to extend. You will be part of a large-scale Active Directory (AD) transformation programme. Key Responsibilities: Estimation, design, installation, configuration, integration and productionising of information technology system components. Prioritise rapid, automated and safe deployment of technical solutions. Lead support and technical troubleshooting responsibilities for production systems. Drive continuous improvement for the system and team processes. Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, monitor system health, and enhance system performance. Remediate performance issues across Entra ID, AD, and related services in a complex, fast-paced environment Maintain and improve the security posture of the AD environment by implementing best practices for authentication, access controls, and auditing.   Required Skills & Experience: Very strong AD on prem engineering experience Azure Active Directory (AAD), Modern Authentication and Authorisation protocols Entra ID experience PowerShell scripting experience for automation, troubleshooting, and system optimisation. Good understanding of general IAM principles and the Microsoft Identity ecosystem. Active Directory running in virtualised environments Security Best Practices: Knowledge of AD security best practices, including user authentication, identity management, and access controls.
