<ul> <li>Location - Canberra</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 3 months</li> <li>The role closes on 9th February 2026</li> </ul> <strong>Role requirements:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Electronic / RF characterization of integrated systems (systems of systems), systems and subsystems, including radios, integrated platforms, antennas, etc, including the development of procedures and tools necessary to achieve this;</li> <li>Establishment of the Contested Communications Framework, as part of the Capability Configuration Management Framework (CCMF), including supporting processes and documents;</li> <li>Conduct end-to-end analysis, measurement, and simulation of contested communications scenarios, in virtual, bench and open-air environments; and,</li> <li>Supporting various meetings, working groups, and other fora, toshare information, lessonslearnt, etc</li> </ul> <strong>Role responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Conduct RF design and prototype activities in accordance with defined requirements for assigned platform variants;</li> <li>Develop and document the design descriptions and design records, using an agreed template, to record the modifications, risks and opportunities of the complete suite of proposed modifications;</li> <li>Peer review RF designs in support of other engineering efforts;</li> <li>Coordinate advice from, and engage and consult with, various System Program Office (SPO),ensuring requests for information (RFI's) are managed;</li> <li>Conduct installation activities as required, and review prototype design artefacts and update vehicle build state documents.</li> <li>Provide systems engineering supports as required to achieve agreed outcomes</li> </ul> <strong>Essential requirements:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Electronic, Telecommunications and/or Communications Engineering from an Australian institution, or a qualification gained elsewhere, that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a Professional Engineer.</li> <li>At least five years (recent) experience in RF engineering and/or RF systems engineering, including the knowledge and use of spectrum analyzers and other test equipment</li> <li>Post graduate qualifications in a relevant technical field are highly desirable</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in analysis and automation tools such as LabVIEW, MatLab or CSTis desirable.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 2.14 Specialist Engineering - Communications Engineering (RF/Tactical)</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Radio frequency engineering (RFEN) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application </strong><br> <br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br> <br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
