🚀 Senior Pega Developer (UX Specialist) 🚀 Pay Rate: $700 - $1,050.00 per day, doe Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2025 (Opportunity for multiple extensions) Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day in-office per week (subject to change to 5 days in the office based on workplace policies) Location: Sydney Hours: 40 per week Checks Required: 2 references + Fit2Work National Police Check The Role: Senior Pega Developer (UX Specialist) to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the government sector. You will play a key role in modernising and streamlining digital workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on the Pega platform. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Develop and maintain Pega-based solutions, ensuring best practices and security standards are met. ✅ Design and build responsive, accessible user interfaces within Pega. ✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. ✅ Conduct code reviews, performance optimisations, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability. ✅ Integrate Pega applications with REST-based services and third-party systems. ✅ Document technical designs, processes, and best practices for continuous improvement. About You: Must-Have Skills: ✔️ 5+ years of experience in Pega 7.x & 8.x development, including Case Management, Data Management, and UI. ✔️ Strong understanding of Pega Rules (Activities, Flows, Declaratives, Decision, Validation, Reports, UI). ✔️ Experience working with Pega Cloud, Pega Decisioning, and Pega Frameworks. ✔️ Expertise in debugging tools like Tracer, Clipboard, SMA, and Live UI. ✔️ Knowledge of Pega Architecture, including Enterprise Class Design, Application Layer Cake, Data Modelling, and Rule Resolution. ✔️ Experience integrating Pega applications with REST-based services. ✔️ Proficiency in SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL) and database modeling. Nice-to-Have Skills: ➕ Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML. ➕ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. ➕ Excellent communication skills to work effectively across technical and business teams.
