<ul> <li>Location - ACT</li> <li>Security Clearance - Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract - 24 months</li> <li>Closing Date - 03/10/2025</li> </ul> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Administer and maintain Linux-based servers, infrastructure and software across both physical and virtual environments.</li> <li>Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance of critical systems.</li> <li>Design, build and implement security and network management in support of the Land Combat System Validation Lab and initiatives.</li> <li>Close collaboration with engineering, DevSecOps and Environment teams to securely deploy and maintain experimental systems, contribute towards future architectural decisions.</li> <li>Provide technical support to Army exercises for role specific technologies and systems.</li> <li>Conduct regular system audits, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage patching activities.</li> <li>Support accreditation processes and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation.</li> <li>Deploy, maintain and manage large Linux Environment Management tools such as Satellite and Ansible for large scale Linux fleet management.</li> <li>The role includes developing and maintaining automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline operations.</li> <li>Dev sec Ops - CICD pipelines, GitLab, Ansible.</li> <li>Open Stack / Open Shift, Docker, PODMAN, Kubernetes - containerisation.</li> <li>Standardising system deployments and enforce configuration baselines.</li> <li>Maintain version-controlled infrastructure-as-code repositories ensuring traceability and supports continuous improvement in system management practices.</li> </ul> <strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Extensive experience with Linux system administration in secure, mission-critical environments, primarily with Red Hat based operating systems.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualisation (KVM, VMware).</li> <li>Proven ability to implement security controls and respond to cyber threats.</li> <li>Familiarity with integrating emerging technologies into secure infrastructure.</li> <li>RHICE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) - Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security certification.</li> <li>TIL Foundation (for service management)</li> <li>AWS/Azure/GCP certifications (for hybrid cloud environments)</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS -&nbsp;2.13 Specialist Engineering - Communications Network Engineering - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Network design (NTDS) - L4 / Network&nbsp;support (NTAS) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact Melody on 02 4086 8973 or [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARISZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
