What You'll Be Doing: Build, enhance and maintain high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot, deployed on GCP Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, contributing to a scalable and low-latency system Work on simplification and migration of legacy platforms Leverage modern data technologies including Cassandra (with Gremlin), Spanner, and SQL/NoSQL Collaborate with multiple squads, participate in peer reviews, and drive engineering excellence Support APIs enabling Open Banking, third-party servicing, account origination, and data sharing About You: Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices Solid knowledge of API design (REST & GraphQL) and event-driven/messaging systems Familiarity with Cassandra or other NoSQL DBs Passion for building scalable, performant systems with clean, maintainable code Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and containerisation Exposure to contract testing, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python or Shell) is a plus Comfortable participating in on-call rotation (quarterly) I would love to discuss this opportunity futher, please share a copy of your CV to [email protected]
