The platform supports high-value use cases like battery scheduling, demand forecasting, and asset valuation. Clients rely on it to make fast, accurate decisions in a market where delays and bad calls are expensive. This is a product-led company. The engineering team works closely with domain experts to solve real-world problems and ship software that has direct impact. They're growing sustainably, with strong demand from clients across ANZ and globally. The team works hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in their Sydney office. About the Role You'll join a small, senior team building a platform that processes and visualises large-scale, near real-time data. The work spans backend APIs, data handling, and frontend components. You'll ship features end to end, write testable code, and play a role in product direction. The systems you build will directly support billion-dollar decisions across energy markets. Responsibilities Build and maintain APIs using Python and Flask Develop frontend features using modern JS frameworks (React) Handle large data sets and near real-time processing Write unit and integration tests Participate in code reviews and system design Work closely with product and engineering to scope, build, and ship features You'll Need Strong experience with Python and web frameworks, especially Flask Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS Strong frontend skills (React or similar) Good understanding of relational databases and API design Ability to work independently and contribute to fast-moving products Desired Skills and Experience Python, Flask, JavaScript, React, AWS
