About the job Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular/React) – Fintech SaaS Scaleup | Sydney Hybrid 🚀 Newly Created Role | 👨‍💻 Product-Led SaaS Company | 💥 Frontend Impact at Scale We’re partnering with one of Australia’s fastest-growing Fintech companies on a newly created Senior Frontend Engineer opportunity. With strong momentum and continued product expansion, they’re investing in platform quality, design systems, and frontend architecture and they’re looking for a hands on senior who can help lead the charge. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across multiple squads, mentor other engineers, and help shape best practices for frontend across the entire product suite. If you're looking to go deep on craft, work closely with design, and influence technical direction, this is your chance. 🧠 The Work You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team focused on modernising UI and improving developer experience. The product touches tens of thousands of Australian businesses, so the reach and scale are real. Your role will include: Hands-on coding in React (and some Angular), building out scalable, robust features Leading frontend architectural decisions and design patterns Championing design systems and tooling (e.g. Storybook) Collaborating with design and backend engineering across squads Setting standards for secure, maintainable, testable frontend code Mentoring mid-level engineers and contributing to team-wide knowledge sharing Driving improvements in observability, performance, and developer experience 💡 What You Bring Strong expertise in React & Angular (some legacy to upgrade) – ideally commercial experience in both Deep understanding of web application architecture and security (XSS, CSRF, CORS etc) Experience working with or maintaining component libraries/design systems Strong communication and a collaborative, mentoring mindset Proactive approach to code quality, scalability, and tooling Bonus if you’ve worked in product-led or SaaS environments at scale 🏆 Why This Role?
