⚙️ Senior - Principal Platform Engineer | Databricks | Sydney Hybrid $180-200k+Super+ Bonus. 2iC to the Head of Infra. Join a high-growth FinTech that is scaling its platform and infrastructure team in Sydney. They are looking for a Senior- Principal level Platform Engineer to help design and implement the next generation of their cloud-native data and application platform. ⚙️ The Role -Build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure to power millions of end users. -Take a lead role across AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring (CloudWatch, DataDog, OpenTelemetry). -Partner with data and engineering teams to enable Databricks lakehouse capabilities (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, multi-tenant architecture). -Be a 2iC to the Head of Platform & Infrastructure, mentoring mid-level engineers and helping shape team practices. ⚡️ What We’re Looking For -5–7+ years platform/DevOps/infra experience, ideally in cloud-native product environments. -Deep knowledge of AWS + Terraform (must-haves). -Strong CI/CD and automation background. -Exposure to Databricks (or similar: Snowflake, Spark, ML platforms). -Engineering background, with the ability to influence design and mentor others.
