<ul> <li>Location - ACT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 17 months</li> <li>The role closes on 3rd of March 2026</li> </ul> <strong>Service/Tasks:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Conduct co-ordination, direction, and evaluation of system safety activities in a Capability Life Cycle environment.</li> <li>Conduct system safety analysis, development, and support Verification &amp; Validation (V&amp;V) as required to support a System Safety Program.</li> <li>Planning and conduct of System Safety Reviews and subsequent Systems Safety Working Groups.</li> <li>Provide advice and guidance on system safety engineering analysis techniques, processes, and software assurance necessary for design and implementation.</li> <li>Conduct reviews of contract deliverables as required.</li> </ul> <strong>Outputs:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Systems safety specifications, plans, procedures, and reports.</li> <li>Safety Case Reports.</li> <li>Hazard Analyses and associated reports.</li> <li>Systems safety engineering services.</li> <li>Any necessary specialist engineering reports.</li> <li>Systems safety V&amp;V plans and procedures.</li> <li>Contract documentation, plans, and reports. Standards:</li> <li>Accountable for exercising assigned Technical Authority delegations.</li> <li>Provided services by personnel holding tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience, practical experience in the development of a System Safety Program, Safety Management Plans, and ability to coordinate, direct and evaluate system safety activities in a sustainment environment.</li> <li>System Safety Program plans incorporate best practice safety engineering and safety management principles applicable in acquisition and sustainment environment.</li> <li>Services are to be provided commensurate with relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements</li> <li>Evaluate technical and design packages, and where required, scope, plan and review the implementation of actions from a safety perspective (in collaboration with support contractors).</li> </ul> <strong>Qualifications:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Engineers Australia Professional Engineering Stage 2 competencies, that is:</li> <li>A four-year engineering degree (Australian Qualification Framework level 7) in a relevant engineering discipline that is recognised under the Washington Accord,</li> <li>Recognition as a Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent; and</li> <li>A minimum one-year experience within a materiel system safety program.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 2.5 Systems and Software Engineering - Safety Management - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Safety engineering (SFEN) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected]&nbsp;or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
