<ul> <li>Location - Canberra, ACT</li> <li>Security Clearance - Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract - 10 months</li> <li>Closing Date - 17th September 2025</li> </ul> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Actively supporting the Project Manager in meeting accountabilities in setting work priorities, workflows and work packages for project personnel.</li> <li>Supporting the team in delivering against its milestones, within cost, within budget and to the agreed scope.</li> <li>Conduct of planning, scheduling and estimating of work/tasks to meet Defence requirements.</li> <li>Preparing project documentation including strategies, plans, schedules and estimates, and assisting with the review and clearance processes for project documentation.</li> <li>Providing expert project management, professional and policy advice to project teams and stakeholders.</li> <li>Preparation and facilitation of briefings, workshops, presentations and reports for the management team and other stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management or policy development for the project, providing advice on innovation and business improvement.</li> <li>Support development and maintenance of processes that support the effective and efficient management and governance of the project.</li> <li>For discrete tasking, be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team and be accountable to set work priorities and workflows for required work packages.</li> <li>Work collaboratively to develop and maintain beneficial, effective relationships and negotiate effectively to influence stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver agreed project outcomes.</li> <li>Assess, interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.</li> <li>Be accountable for accurate completion of work within defined timeframes and quality requirements within a matrixed, integrated workforce.</li> </ul> <strong>Experience Skills Sought:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Working in complex and challenging environments.</li> <li>Working in a complex stakeholder system.</li> <li>Highly effective communication, both formally and informally, including advanced technical writing skills.</li> <li>Initiative in keeping personal skills up to date, maintaining awareness of industry developments and pursuing continuous improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Ability to analyse, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets while assessing and evaluating risk.</li> </ul> &nbsp;<strong>Essential&nbsp;Qualifications and Experience:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Postgraduate qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience in project management.</li> <li>More than 8 years' experience in the field of project/program<br>management.</li> <li>Experience with Foreign Military Sales procurement processes and activities.</li> <li>Very strong written and oral communication skills.</li> </ul> <strong>Highly Desirable Experience and / or Qualifications:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or Scrum.</li> <li>Experience in pre-acquisition project activities including design, development and tender evaluations.</li> <li>Experience in the design, development and support of operational military communications and ICT systems.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 1.2 Project Management Services &amp; Support - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Project management (PRMG) - L4&nbsp;</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact Melody on 02 4086 8973 or [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARISZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
