<ul> <li>Location - Melbourne, VIC</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 4 months</li> <li>The role closes on 25th March 2026</li> <li>Reference: 1031047</li> </ul> <strong>Deliverables / Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Contribute to internal and external status reporting as required.</li> <li>Engage with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to achieve outcomes through effective communication and collaboration.</li> <li>Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.</li> <li>Identify Risks, Threats, Issues and Opportunities along with mitigation strategies related to the transition and related activities.</li> <li>Implement contingency plans and mitigations to ensure projects are delivered to agreed timelines.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to organisational policies, safety standards, and security requirements.</li> <li>Develop and document project management and team processes, where applicable.</li> </ul> <strong>Experience/Skills Sought:</strong><br> <ul> <li>7-10 years' experience in Defence Project Management with demonstrated understanding of military and operational environment as well as the capability integration requirements.</li> <li>Providing specialist advice to requirements definition and then planning, monitoring and controlling of programs/products across the life cycle of a capability.</li> <li>Solving complex problems and manage issues to support the delivery of capability, including understanding of the technical, operational and logistical requirements.</li> <li>Evaluating and ensuring that the capability sustainment meets requirements, and is in line with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.</li> <li>Work collaboratively and communicate highly effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Analysing, developing and implementing work plans to support delivery of outcomes, understand critical success factors and recommend changes.</li> <li>Experience working in an engineering environment.</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, ICT or Engineering.</li> <li>Certified membership with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).</li> <li>Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements.</li> <li>Experience or qualifications in Agile project management.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 1.2 Project Management Services &amp; Support - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Project management PRMG - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected]&nbsp;or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
