Salt has partnered with an industry leader in the Australian tertiary education sector, now looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with extensive Cloud computing skills to join their large-scale team in Melbourne. We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL developer, with extensive skills in AWS services to join the growing team. This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions while working with complex data environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and enhance PL/SQL scripts and work with Oracle SAMS data structures. Perform data analysis and deliver insights to support business and technical decision-making. Design, deploy, and optimize solutions using AWS compute, storage, and security services (EC2, ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, Secrets Manager, IAM). Implement serverless architectures and integrate AWS Lambda with other services. Ensure applications and infrastructure follow AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and VPC security. Build and manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development using AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy. Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot applications using AWS CloudWatch and other tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, solve problems, and deliver scalable cloud solutions. Essential Skills Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora. Strong experience with serverless architecture, Lambda, and event-driven integrations. Expertise in security best practices for AWS environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, DNS Records, encryption). Proficiency in PL/SQL development and data analysis. Hands-on experience with Oracle, Tomcat, Unix, and cloud-based infrastructure. Strong knowledge of AWS Secrets Manager, ACM, IAM.
