<ul> <li>Location - Canberra, ACT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 17 months</li> <li>The role closes on 24th February 2026</li> </ul> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Support development, implementation, and maintenance of sustainment ILS documentation, including sustainment plans, maintenance strategies, and ILS instructions.</li> <li>Support the management of sustainment workflows, tracking deliverables, risks, issues, and performance outcomes.</li> <li>Contribute to the review, analysis, and reporting of materiel logistics performance, including reliability, maintainability, and supply chain performance.</li> <li>Liaise with internal Defence stakeholders, contractors, and technical agencies to ensure sustainment activities remain aligned with program objectives and system performance needs.</li> <li>Participate in sustainment‑related working groups, reviews, and technical forums.</li> <li>Apply Defence policy, regulatory frameworks, quality requirements, and relevant standards to all sustainment logistics activities.</li> <li>Assist in the assessment and classification of controlled technical data, equipment, software, and services.</li> <li>Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of export authorisations, permits, and technology release documentation.</li> <li>Liaise with internal stakeholders and industry partners to ensure coordinated and compliant technical data exchange.</li> <li>Support internal training, assurance checks, and process improvement initiatives relevant to export controls.</li> <li>Assist with preparation of program reports, artefacts, briefs, and documentation relating to sustainment and export controls.</li> <li>Contribute to procurement and contract‑related activities where they interface with sustainment logistics or export control requirements.</li> <li>Travel as required.</li> <li>All other tasks as directed.</li> </ul> <strong>Essential Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in ILS or similar areas of expertise.</li> <li>Experience in ILS, preferably in sustainment environments.</li> <li>Experience with export controls.</li> <li>Knowledge of Defence sustainment policy, tools, and processes.</li> <li>Ability to interpret complex technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements.</li> </ul> <strong>Desirable Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Possession of multiple advanced certifications</li> <li>Experience preparing briefs, policy papers, or Defence security documentation.</li> </ul> <strong>Required Behaviours:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Act prudently, ethically and lawfully</li> <li>Communicate effectively with line managers and Division Head, including consultation with them and taking appropriate direction from them.</li> <li>Employ best practice in the execution of work, focusing on achieving outcomes, ensuring that decisions are made by appropriately qualified and experienced persons, and taking judicious risks</li> <li>Provide clarity on roles & responsibilities.</li> <li>Encourage transparency and truthfulness.</li> <li>Encourage collaboration and communication.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 3.1 Integrated Logistics Support Management - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Asset management (ASMG) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application </strong><br> <br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br> <br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
