We are working with a global bank to find a Red Hat Linux Systems Engineer. You will be working within a large team in a secure and scalable hybrid IT environment. This is a BAU position supporting Red Hat Infrastructure & Cloud Operations during a critical transformation period. Role Overview: Manage, administer, maintain and optimize RHEL systems Support Azure cloud infrastructure, and automate tasks using Python (preferred) or Bash. Work alongside infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability, security, and performance. . Support and manage Azure-based infrastructure, including VMs, networking, and storage. Apply security patches, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues Collaborate with internal teams on deployments and infrastructure changes. Document system configurations and operational procedures. Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux administration Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure Understanding of monitoring tools Automation experience with Ansible would be a bonus Ideally certified with Red Hat (RCHE, RHCSA) This position is paying $100-$110k + super depending on experience, has a hybrid arrangement (3 days from home) and their office is based in Sydney CBD.
