Responsibilities: Developing and implementing organisation-wide ICT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and System Contingency strategies. Evaluating risks and identifying capability gaps in crisis response and infrastructure resilience. Embedding cyber security and business continuity principles into contingency planning processes. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and Disaster Recovery technologies, including backup systems and cloud environments. Awareness of cyber threat methods and their potential impact on recovery operations. Applying recognised standards and frameworks for contingency planning, such as NIST 800-34, ISM, and ISO 27001 / 22301. Leading simulation exercises, recovery tests, and conducting post-incident analysis. Deploying best practice continuity measures within cloud environments. Ensuring BCP and DR initiatives align with enterprise risk management and audit requirements. What you'll need to succeed: Minimum of five years’ experience in cyber security and business continuity Past experience with disaster recovery scenario's, continuity planning, crisis management plans. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and cybersecurity principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
