Senior / Lead Azure Migration Specialist Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid: 1–2 days/week in CBD office) 6-Month Contract About the Role: Nuage Technology Group has partnered with a leading global enterprise for a large scale cloud migration project. We are helping them with finding either Senior or Lead Azure Migration Specialist to spearhead a critical migration initiative for a prominent enterprise client. This role involves transitioning .NET applications and VMware datacentres to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Azure migrations, driving both design and engineering facets, and will collaborate closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure a seamless migration process. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end migration of .NET applications and VMware datacentres to Azure. Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategies and timelines. Design and implement Azure-based solutions, ensuring scalability and security. Utilize tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps for infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines. Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation tasks. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in leading Azure migration projects, particularly involving .NET applications and VMware environments. Proficiency in Azure core services, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and PowerShell scripting. Ability to read and write in .NET languages. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Contract Details: Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance. Competitive daily rates commensurate with experience. Must have either Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
