Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to join their IT PMO team on a permanent basis. This critical role is responsible for leading impactful projects that drive operational excellence and align with our business objectives. As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, collaborating closely with stakeholders, supporting team members, and ensuring alignment with the values and culture of the organisation. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Head of PMO to identify, prioritize, and deliver projects aligned with strategic business goals Lead project planning, resource allocation, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, leading by example and providing guidance when needed Act as a liaison for stakeholders, managing expectations and building strong relationships Identify and mitigate risks proactively, adjusting plans to address changes effectively Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to PMO policies Participate in lessons learned and drive continuous improvement within the PMO Prepare and present project updates to senior management, maintaining transparency and alignment with business goals Maintain project discipline and adherence to established processes Skills Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record in delivering complex, large-scale projects Experience with upgrades of legacy systems, replacements, and managing technical debt projects Proven ability to deliver new applications focused on automation testing and penetration testing Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships Resilience in managing complex projects and navigating challenges Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; a Master's degree is preferred PMP certification is essential; additional certifications in Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma are highly regarded Strong familiarity with the FMCG/manufacturing sector Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to manage shifting priorities while maintaining focus and composure.
