<ul> <li>Location - ACT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with Baseline Security Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 12 months | Number of extensions: 2</li> <li>The role closes on 24th April 2026</li> </ul> <strong>Key duties and responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Maintenance of the existing Exchange Server infrastructure and Enterprise Vault archiving solution </li> <li>Migration of mail data, including groups, to Exchange Online </li> <li>Development of migration approaches and rationalisation of Enterprise Vault archive data </li> <li>Investigation and resolution of complex technical problems across the technical stack </li> <li>Creation/update of various documentation including as-built documentation, design documentation, detailed migration plans, DR documentation and decommissioning plans as required </li> <li>Technical representation at project meetings </li> <li>Facilitating technical workshops (if required) </li> <li>Cross-skilling with team members and assistance to support staff in related teams (e.g. service desk) </li> </ul> <strong>Essential criteria</strong><br> <ol> <li>Expert knowledge of Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and configuration of hybrid Exchange deployments, including implementation, upgrades and day to day management activities in a complex multi-forest environment. </li> <li>Proven experience in migrations including to Exchange Online, cross forest and from legacy Exchange versions. </li> <li>High-level Exchange troubleshooting skills, including for mail flow, mail gateway technologies and on-premise/cloud-based resource connectivity. </li> <li>High-level knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals (e.g. Active Directory, DNS, DFS etc), and Group Policy configuration (including Advanced Group Policy Management). </li> <li>Experience with Australian Government IT Cyber Security processes including ISM, Essential 8 and ACSC hardening guides. </li> <li>Strong experience in writing technical documentation including design documentation and standard operating procedures. </li> </ol> <strong>Desirable criteria</strong><br> <ul> <li>Experience with Arctera Enterprise Vault, Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP), Microsoft Intune mobile device management and Intune policy. </li> <li>Experience with broader Microsoft 365 services would also be beneficial. </li> </ul> <strong>For each candidate, please reply to us with your:</strong><br> <ul> <li>start date</li> <li>hourly rate</li> <li>service management fee</li> <li>citizenship status</li> <li>security clearance</li> <li>one page pitch to address all criteria specified (this is equal to 5000 characters in BuyICT)</li> <li>resumés</li> <li>response to additional requirements</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 5.12 Learning and Development (L&D) Implementation and Administration Services - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - System Software Administration (SYSP) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application </strong><br> <br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br> <br><em>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
