<ul> <li>Location - Perth WA, Cairns QLD, and Darwin NT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 3 months</li> <li>The role closes on 1/5/2026</li> </ul> <strong>Responsibilities</strong>:<br> <ul> <li>Setting and overseeing engineering requirements across all remediation activities.</li> <li>Exercising Engineering Authority in support of program decision&#8209;making.</li> <li>Leading engineering governance, configuration compliance, and technical assurance.</li> <li>Planning and managing the fleet wide Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) program.</li> <li>Defining and establishing the Design Baseline for the platform.</li> <li>Working closely with PMO leadership and Defence stakeholders to achieve key milestones.</li> </ul> <strong>Skills and Experience:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Bachelor&#8209;level engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Marine, Systems, or equivalent).</li> <li>Demonstrated experience performing as a delegated engineering authority within Defence maritime programs.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Defence engineering governance, configuration management frameworks and certification practices.</li> <li>Experience establishing or managing Design Baselines, technical assurance frameworks and engineering compliance processes.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience overseeing Maintenance Task Analysis activities, Standard Activities, maintenance schedule updates or fleet wide sustainment reviews.</li> <li>Strong understanding of naval platform systems, vessel maintenance practices and maritime regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Strong leadership capability with experience guiding multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders and develop clear, defensible engineering artefacts.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 2.20 - Specialist Engineering - Maritime Systems - L1</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Systems and Software Lifecycle Engineering (SLEN) - L2</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application </strong><br> <br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br> <br>ARIS ZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
