Description

DevOps Lead & Software Development Manager -Circa $190k+Super-Remote First. Sydney HQ. Work from home.-HealthTech Scale up This is an unusual / hybrid role , however, it offers a fantastic career progression opportunity for the right person You'll work alongside the CTO in this Healthcare SaaS scale up, 30 in the company overall, circa 10 in the tech team. -Having recently moved from on prem to the cloud (Azure 90%, 10% AWS), they need someone to come in an own the develops / infra space -Analyse & optimize the current cloud environment and spend and own all things infra & Lead, manage the team from a line & people management perspective, the CTO wants to be purely tech focused -You'll ideally come from a software development background Team Leadership (60% of the role)Lead, mentor, and grow the software engineering team across the product suite Design and manage strong processes and structure to ensure product delivery aligns with business expectations Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. Partner with Product leads and other departments to align priorities and execution. Security and Compliance Oversee information security policies, including ISO27001 compliance, and customer security requirements. Infrastructure and DevOps ( 40% of the role)Own and manage all cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). Build, maintain, and improve monitoring, logging, and deployment processes. Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization. Manage production environments to maintain uptime, performance, and reliability. Keep across the latest developments in AWS and Azure to sure we continually improve and evolve our infrastructure appropriately Technical LeadershipSupport the CTO in setting the technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals, then lead the technical teams to execute architect and evolve the existing systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Evaluate and drive modernization strategies that align with business and product objectives. Ensure sound architectural decisions that balance speed, cost, and technical debt. Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with the CEO, COO, CTO and Product leadership on strategic planning. Participate in customer conversations, partner discussions, and vendor management.
