<ul> <li>Location - Canberra, ACT</li> <li>Security Clearance - Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract - 23 months</li> <li>Closing Date - 1st October 2025</li> </ul> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Oversee and co-ordinate the Engineering Activities in support of acquisition.</li> <li>Provide governance that Functional Requirements are met through the acquisition process.</li> <li>Develop, manage, and maintain the Engineering Documentation suite.</li> <li>Provision formal Engineering advice regarding project engineering activities, across all relevant contracts.</li> <li>Exercise appropriate Engineering Delegation as issued.</li> <li>Oversee and supervise the Engineering Team, delegate and coordinate Engineering activities, and facilitate the ongoing professional development of team members.</li> <li>Collaborate with the wider Project Team to provide Engineering input across all discipline streams.</li> <li>Review and provide engineering feedback on contract deliverables in order to support the implementation.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Engineering Team, organising and coordinating workshops.</li> <li>Maintain compliance of Engineering process.</li> </ul> <strong>Qualification &amp; Experience:</strong><br> <ul> <li>Be a Chartered Professional Engineer of a registered Professional Engineering Body (such as Engineers Australia) equivalent or be able to attain chartered status.</li> <li>Knowledge of, and experience in the One Defence Capability System.</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Systems Engineering, or other equivalent experience.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in leadership and management roles, and an ability to coach and guide teams in the implementation of strategy and change.</li> <li>Understanding of technical, logistical, and operational requirements in the delivery of capability, and knowledge of applicable Defence policy and legislation.</li> <li>Experience in managing cross-functional teams of diverse technical specialisations.</li> <li>Act prudently, ethically and lawfully.</li> <li>Employ best practice in the execution of work, focusing on achieving outcomes, ensuring that decisions are made by appropriately qualified and experienced persons, and taking judicious risks.</li> <li>Provide clarity on roles &amp; responsibilities.</li> <li>Encourage transparency and truthfulness.</li> <li>Encourage collaboration and communication.</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Criteria:</strong><br> <ul> <li>DSS - 2.1 Systems and Software Engineering - Systems Engineering - L3</li> <li>SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L4</li> </ul> <strong>Please contact Melody on 02 4086 8973 or [email protected] or simply click apply to submit your application&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>"We warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including First Nations Australians, Australian Defence Force and First Responder veterans, women in STEM, and people of all abilities, including those registered with the NDIS."</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><em>ARISZINC GROUP offers an end-to-end service approach with unique combination of expertise in recruiting, IT consulting and payroll services in the Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane markets.
