<br> <div> <ul> <li>Location - Eveleigh NSW 2015, Australia</li> <li>Security Clearance - Australian Citizens with Security Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract - 8 months </li> <li>Closing Date - 22 Oct 2025 6:00 PM</li> </ul> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br> <ul> <li>A working knowledge of naval platform systems and contemporary software engineering tools, to assist with the further development of an integrated simulator.</li> <li>The ability to adapt, integrate, and extend autonomy systems for autonomous underwater vehicles and related sensing, navigation and communication systems.</li> <li>The ability to test and assess these systems during both sea trials and simulations.</li> <li>Skills and experience in the areas of software engineering, modelling and simulation, C++ and Python programming languages, Robotic Operating System middleware, Combat Systems simulation.</li> <li>The ability uses industry-standard development techniques to maintain and extend software developed on a robotic software framework.</li> </ul> <strong>Deliverables:</strong><br><br>1. Simulation scenarios and design of software libraries <ul> <li>Review and provide simulation scenario configurations. </li> <li>Conducting initial data collection using integrated hardware and software simulation systems. </li> <li>Planning work packages related to the project.</li> <li>Producing design documentation and diagrams related to software libraries. </li> </ul> 2. User interface and initial software library <ul> <li>Design, implementation and testing of User Interface features used for simulation scenario design. </li> <li>Development and testing of initial software library and components. </li> </ul> 3. Second iteration of software library <ul> <li>Design, implementation and test of software components used for data analysis and processing. </li> <li>Provide automated development & test configurations used for continuous development and integration. </li> <li>Develop and test a second iteration of the software library and components. </li> </ul> 4. Integration of simulation systems <ul> <li>Planning and design activities required for integration of newly developed software libraries and components. </li> <li>Integration of simulation systems with systems from other partners. </li> <li>Collection of data using partners' simulation systems, delivery of post-trial reports. </li> <li>Uplift of software components, including Vehicle Autonomy and other related modules. </li> </ul> 5.
