<ul> <li>Location - ACT</li> <li>Australian Citizens with Baseline Security Clearance</li> <li>Length of Contract: 12 months&nbsp;| Number of extensions: 2</li> <li>The role closes on 24th April 2026</li> </ul> <strong>Key duties and responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer or Solution Architect, preferably within a federal government department. &nbsp;</li> <li>Solid&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in developing&nbsp;high level&nbsp;and detailed design solutions for Azure based applications. &nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in the development of Azure DevOps pipelines. &nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with Azure Virtual network configuration including hybrid network architecture, and cloud native web ingress patterns. &nbsp;</li> <li>Familiar with cyber security controls (ISM), OWASP and Essential 8 controls within federal government departments. &nbsp;</li> <li>Detailed technical knowledge of the Azure cloud platform. &nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work independently, build productive relationships and liaise with stakeholders (including business users, development teams, cloud engineers, cyber security&nbsp;experts&nbsp;and enterprise architects).</li> <li>Strong communications skills and ability to convert business requirement into detailed design solutions using concise language, diagrams and accurate technical details.</li> </ul> <strong>Essential criteria</strong><br> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in understanding business requirements and solutioning designs for Azure based cloud environments into HLD and DLD as well as reusable architecture patterns</li> <li>Experience implementing and administering Azure cloud services.
