About the role The team within the Human Resources Branch supports several Human Resource management applications, including the Workplace Health and Safety Solution on behalf of the Occupational Safety and Wellbeing team. This product has been operating within the Department since 2011, and it is now at a point where significant work is required to realign the current solution with future business requirements. Key responsibilities An experienced Senior Business Analyst is required to work with the teams to: Detail current and planned future health, safety and wellbeing business requirements, and Assess both the current MyHR workplace health and safety solution and the Integrum WoG solution functionality against these requirements to inform an ICT investment strategy. This assessment will be used to inform the roadmap in relation to the future workplace health and safety solution investment in particular, upgrading the current solution or embarking on a software replacement program with the Integrum solution. Gathering information from stakeholders to understand their needs and detailed requirements; Writing Business and Functional requirements specifications and documenting business rules; Analysing and decomposing business requirement into functional and non-functional requirements; Expertise in business process modelling using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) Understanding the limitations of technology in relation to business processes. Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and management. This includes: Track record in gaining the confidence of business stakeholders and building productive working relationships with key stakeholders and technical teams; Consultation and communication with a diverse group of stakeholders.
